“Brocks”, Bristol: dingy dirt traps
Posted by on August 7, 2011
“Brocks” burglar alarm, Bristol • Enough with the nets. Now for pigeon spikes, which seem far more common around old alarms than new ones. There’s something really mournful about pigeon spikes, I always find; nasty spindly dirt traps which look so dingy that guano would be more attractive. However the only alternative is apparently a live hawk, which explains their ongoing popularity. • Spotted: Union Street, Bristol, Avon, BS1, England, 2011 • Politics: In the Liberal Democrat constituency of Bristol West
